Techno-realist
I am as equally enthralled with cutting-edge gadgets as I am with finding the solution people will actually use. I see the status quo in all forms at every layer of commerce, physical and digital. I realize that many of these products’ decisions are made for cost cutting or bureaucratic measures, but it’s this ability to identify these maladies no matter how integrated it has become in our culture that seems to be in short supply.
I am every end user
Within minutes of exploring a problem, I feel the extraneous details of convention being stripped away and begin to see the roots of the solution. With the breadth of my background, I’m able to overlap with teammates just enough to facilitate a frictionless and fruitful concerted effort that propels me to keep designing with all walks of life in every field at any capacity.
Thick skinned
My ideas come in a quick quantity, so if I can’t make a compelling argument for them, I have no problem moving back to the drawing board. This is a characteristic I see less frequently but feel is critical to an all-hands approach in tackling today’s issues.
